I had a good experience at Kirketon Hotel. The location was fantastic, close to Kings Cross and various eateries. My room was clean and comfortable, though a bit small with a view of a wall. The lack of an elevator could be a challenge for some, but it worked out fine for me.

Rooms

The room was compact but cozy, featuring a comfortable bed and clean linens. I appreciated the amenities like air conditioning and good water pressure. However, the shower design could use some improvement as water splashed onto the bathroom floor.

The location is a major plus. It’s just a short walk from Kings Cross station, making it easy to explore Sydney. I felt safe and enjoyed being close to restaurants and cafes.

While there’s no food at the hotel, the breakfast voucher for a nearby cafe is a nice touch. There are plenty of dining options nearby, so I didn't mind that there wasn’t on-site dining.
Facilities

The hotel offered basic facilities, including access to an external hotel. However, the absence of an elevator may inconvenience some guests.

I found the Kirketon Hotel to have a fantastic location near Kings Cross, which made exploring the area very convenient. However, my room was quite small and in need of maintenance, with issues like low lighting and a lack of air conditioning. Overall, while the staff were friendly, the cleanliness and overall state of the hotel didn't meet my expectations for the price.

The room I stayed in was compact with limited space, making it a bit cramped. Though the bed was clean, it lacked basic maintenance and felt quite dated.

My stay at the Kirketon Hotel was enjoyable overall, with great rooms and a stylish atmosphere. The location is fantastic for exploring, just a short walk from Kings Cross Station. However, the absence of an elevator and some minor noise disturbances detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.

I stayed in a lovely room with stylish decor and a super comfortable bed. However, it lacked a safe, which was unexpected during the renovations. Additionally, even with the room being a superior category, I found it a bit cramped for storage.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the buzzing Darlinghurst area, making it easy to explore Sydney's main attractions. It was also just a hop, skip, and jump from the metro, making getting around a breeze.

While there were limited food options beyond 3 p.m., the available dining options nearby looked very inviting. I appreciated that food was included, and it was quite delicious.

The facilities were adequate with good room service and housekeeping, though the absence of an elevator might pose a challenge for some guests. The access to the gym nearby was a nice perk.

My stay at Kirketon Hotel was a mixed bag. The location in Darlinghurst is fantastic with plenty of nearby restaurants and close proximity to Kings Cross Station, making it easy to navigate the city. However, the room I had was not as clean as I had hoped, and the air conditioning was outdated. I really enjoyed the breakfast though; it was delicious and the coffee was perfect.

Rooms

My stay at Kirketon Hotel was overall enjoyable, with stylish decor and a comfortable bed that made for pleasant nights. However, I encountered a few hiccups, like the automated mini-bar system and some noise from wooden floors. The location is fantastic for getting around Sydney, being just a short walk from Kings Cross Station. Still, I wish the staff had been a bit more attentive during check-in. 😊

Rooms
7.0
The Superior room had stylish decor and a comfy bed, but lacked a safe box due to renovations. The noise from the wooden floors made it hard to sleep at times.
Service

Check-in was somewhat frustrating due to a credit card issue which was resolved only after some persistence. The staff could have been more friendly and helpful.
Location

Perfectly located near Kings Cross, making it easy to explore Sydney. There are plenty of great cafes and restaurants around, especially for breakfast.
Dining

While breakfast wasn't included at the hotel, I enjoyed a fantastic meal at Jamy’s kitchen nearby. The food and service were great.
Facilities

The hotel offers basic amenities like room service and housekeeping, but some areas still need improvement. Overall, it felt a bit under-equipped for a boutique hotel.
